**Week 3
This week, instead of a packet, I thought we could do something fun!! I have created a zoom for the students to join in on a video meeting with our class! This is something they can all do on their laptops, tablets, or any computer that has a camera. The meeting will be held on Thursday, April 2nd at 2:00 pm. :)
I am super excited to see anyone who is able to join in! For the video have your child prepare for one the following:
1. Something you have learned about the "Special person" you chose for your biography project.
2. Something fun you have been doing or working on at home.
3. Show and tell of something you have at your house!

This packet covers reading, writing, math, science and social studies! Students can also access this using Office 365 under Teams. This packet is under assignments. It will need to be printed. All students have used Office 365 for writing assignments.
Biography Book Report: All students took their book of choice and project directions home on Thursday. This is a great way to keep up on reading informational text and work on those writing skills. It also allows for some creativity.
Reading:: My students have done an AMAZING job reading for 20 minutes at the start of our day! Not a single student gets out of their seat. So many wonderful books have been read and I have noticed a love of reading grow.. So, set a timer for 20 minutes after your child has breakfast to just sit and read. Remind them to use their schema, metacognition, and make connections. They know what those are.
I sent home a Language Review packet on Friday for the three weeks we are off. Just complete one a day for each week.. I will have a copies of this in the Administration Main Office for those that were not in school Friday.
